Despite a healthy membership roster, MOSPA recognizes that there are many SPOPS sites -- both secondary and post-secondary -- that still need to be brought into the fold; and we will not rest until we have helped them to see the benefit of partnering with the one organization dedicated to helping us all achieve excellence in serving our special populations students. Look at your region, is there a site (or sites) that need to know about MOSPA? Will you help us spread the word? Let us know if you would like someone in your region to receive information about MOSPA.

The Michigan Occupational Special Populations Association (MOSPA) is pleased to welcome K-12 educators, Post-Secondary faculty and staff, community partners, administrators, non-profit partners, government agencies, and other professionals to attend the State MOSPA Conference.
Each year MOSPA accepts nominations for an outstanding individual, program, or community partner who has gone above and beyond to support Special Populations (SPOP) and/or Occupational Programs/Career Technical Education. Five award categories are available for nominations and one winner from secondary and one winner from post-secondary are selected for each category. See Awards & Recognition for more details.
Each year the state conference committee puts together an event that meets both the expressed wishes and the diverse needs of our attendees. That means we are trying to make sure that each time slot offers speakers and topics of interest to both secondary and post-secondary conference-goers. If you find the conference a good fit for you each year, remember that it was designed with you in mind. Wait to see what we have in store for you!
